1:43 Is it okay to use Teflon Tape on the black threaded section of the toilet where the T-connector attached to? I heard this can prevent leaks but know you can't use Teflon Tape everywhere in plumbing.

How long is the power cord, and can it be moved from one side to another? In my case, the outlet is on the other side of the toilet from where it looks like it is on your setup.

Overall liking the use of the S7. However, the operating manual of the remote is the worst manual I've seen in 50 years! Still cannot set all the preferences.

I am purchasing toilets for a new build and plan to add bidet seats to at least the primary bath. I have never had a bidet seat before. Would this specific bidet seat work well with a Toto Drake Toilet with the bidet cord hole or are these cords in a different spot?

I am having a problem with my Neorest 700H where all/most controls (on both remote and side buttons) intermittently fail to operate. Full functionality is only restored (albeit temporarily) if I unplug /re-plug from the mains. Batteries fresh/good, power good, sight line to sensor is OK. Any suggestions?

My settings are set to automatically open but this feature doesn’t work. My plumber wasn’t the best. Could it be he forgot to hook something up? The toilet is a washlet and just a seat.

I’m a huge fan of the self drying feature on bidets. If you’re already reaping the benefits of a bidet, you gotta have the self drying feature to seal the deal for a hands free experience. Really adds to the luxury of it and also amps up the clean feeling.

My favorite feature has to be the adjustable water temperature control. There’s nothing like it, especially during the winter months. Not only does the adjustable water temperature help with comfort, but it is more effective at cleaning and gentler on my skin. This feature elevates the entire experience, making it not only just a hygienic necessity, but a simple luxury I would love to cherish in my daily routine.

🚽 After watching your excellent, comprehensive video, I am most impressed with the Ultra NOVA for several reasons. I currently have a BioBidet BB-2000 which I've been very happy with...except for the remote control. Frankly, it is terrible because of the IR design. I do like the BB-2000, however, because of the "Vortex" (enema) feature. I have found this feature necessary for my needs. The Ultra NOVA has both an enema wash, as well as an RF remote! An RF remote would make life so much easier by avoiding having to wave my arm around trying to get a direct line-of-sight between the remote and the receiver on the bidet itself! I only wish the Ultra NOVA was not over twice the price of a BB-2000, and only has a one-year a warranty, instead of BB-2000's three-year. 🚽

How do you deal with hard water lime and scale that is plugging up the inside of the device lessening water pressure or plugging up the nozzles?

The S7 remote is red headed stepchild ugly. You also gotta wonder why they don't put bluetooth into the seat and allow you to control if from you phone. In this manner they could push updates out to improve the remote functionality over time.

I love the ultra nova's low profile design and similarly slick remote! Plus the lack of a rim on the lid feels like a feature that so many other models should have but don't.

Kids are the ultimate experts at sending parents down weird internet rabbit holes! But seriously, I'm now a connoisseur of all things butt washing, and the Ultra Nova is the crème de la crème. It's like a spa day for your butt. My favorite feature is the hot-cold pulse that gently massages sensitive areas and rhythmic water temperature variations for a soothing experience. With my daughter's upcoming Pilonidal surgery, I'm tempted to get one - or should I say, it's a doctor's order for a bidet?! So, if you need me, I'll be over here, watching videos on the art of butt cleansing... because that's what parenting is all about, right?" But in all seriousness Pilonidal disease is real and this why I’m watching bidet videos as the doctor did recommend a bidet after her surgery. Wish us luck 😊

The sit on lid and the size of the Ultra Nova is a plus along with the quietness without the misting bowl wash of the Toto S7. Will be buying two Ultra Novas ( unless I win one free!)

Man I have been using a bidet for some time now but had no idea that they had options for this many features. Having internal sterilizing for the water built in seem incredible.

I like the simple sleek remote for the ultra nova. It looks more like an art piece I’d be proud to attach to the wall than the other remotes.

Does the S7A model have a feature to turn off the auto-open and close feature for the seat cover?

The remote control seems to have two replaceable panels on the top. The one on the left has 3 buttons under the panel and the one on the right has 2. I believe one on the left is for light flush, full flush and auto flush. If you have a 2-flush system toilet how can you get the replacement panel for the remote to be able to use both types of flush on the remote?
